Everyday behaviour.
Throughout our everyday lives we believe there are certain standards of behaviour that we all need to adhere to in order to promote a polite society.
This is our take on it. Please let me have yours!
Always be punctual, if you are going to arrive late then telephone
Do not put your feet on seats, they are designed for sitting on.
Remember to say “please” and “thank-you” they cost nothing.
Spend time with your family.
Smile! It’s infectious.
Show tact, know when enough is enough.
Be a good and interested listener.
Be well mannered and chivalrous.
Be non judgemental.
Never arrive empty handed when invited to dinner.
Dress appropriately.
Have impeccable table manners.
Be aware of green issues.
Always return letters and phone calls.
Be proud of your country but never jingoistic.
Know the country code and follow it.
Never be bare chested in public unless for swimming or sports.
Respect rules and the law.
Have respect for yourself and others.
Be gracious in defeat and magnanimous in victory.

Be patient.
Do not swear unless in appropriate company, it just shows a lack of vocabulary.
Be even tempered.
Help the little guy, don’t be a bully.
Don’t make other people listen to your music or noise.
Stand up for what you believe in.
Learn to accept defeat, there must always be a winner and a loser, one shouldn’t expect to win all the time, try to think win:win.
Always carry a handkerchief or paper tissues for coughing or sneezing into.
Do everything with honesty and integrity.
Remember birthdays and anniversaries and put some thought into gifts.
Try to make someone’s day every day.

Do not pick your nose in public, always use a handkerchief and do it discreetly and never at the meal table.
Never ever spit in public.
Find a place and time to eat, do not eat walking along, in the car or on public transport.
Have an open mind about other people, don’t always expect the worst.
Take care of your appearance, be neat and tidy, and clean your shoes.
Always give up your seat to those who need it more than you.
Never drop litter.
Support a charity.
Have high standards of personal hygiene.
